Solaris® speakers are built with a high-density resin enclosure that is both paintable and UV-resistant. Each apeaker incorporates water-tight fittings, mineral-filled polypropylene cones with butyl surrounds, and powder-coated aluminum grilles. All hardware uses weather-resistant brass and stainless steel materials.
The Solaris® SPF-85 delivers maximum coverage area per speaker in a durable, in-ground enclosure design. With full-frequency 360° dispersion, speakers can be placed 25′. apart and still attain maximum coverage, SPL and intelligibility. With polypropylene woofer, sealed enclosure, powder coated steel grille and stainless steel fasteners the SPF 85 delivers lasting performance. Durability is a hallmark of Phase Technology outdoor speakers. The SPF-55 and SPF-85 easily withstand weed whackers, collisions with mowers, and abuse from other outdoor equipment. The SPF-55 and SPF-85 model ships with theft-resistant mounting hardware included.
