Solaris® speakers are built with a high-density resin enclosure that is both paintable and UV-resistant. Each apeaker incorporates water-tight fittings, mineral-filled polypropylene cones with butyl surrounds, and powder-coated aluminum grilles. All hardware uses weather-resistant brass and stainless steel materials.
The Solaris® SPF-55 delivers maximum coverage area per speaker in a durable, in-ground enclosure design. With full-frequency 360° dispersion, speakers can be placed 25′ apart and still attain maximum coverage, SPL and intelligibility. With polypropylene woofer, sealed enclosure, powder coated steel grille and stainless steel fasteners the SPF-55 delivers lasting performance. Durability is a hallmark of Phase Technology® outdoor speakers. The SPF-55 and SPF-85 easily withstand weed whackers, collisions with mowers, and abuse from other outdoor equipment. The SPF-55 and SPF-85 model ships with theft-resistant mounting hardware included.
